iKON in Hard Working Mode… Confirmed to Make Appearance in ‘Weekly Idol’ Following ‘Knowing Bros’
[헤럴드POP=장우영 기자] iKON confirmed their appearance in ‘Weekly Idol’ following their confirmation on ‘Knowing Bros’, getting ready for their comeback promotion.
Since iKON excited the fans by confirming their appearance in ‘Knowing Bros’ that will be filmed on the date of the comeback, January 25, they also confirmed their appearance in ‘Weekly Idol’, noticing active promotion not only in music broadcasts but also in variety programs.
Especially, as YANG HYUN SUK previously stated that he will ‘try to accept as many requests by fans as possible’ through his social media, iKON has already started their communication with the fans with active support from YG Entertainment.
iKON, who were not active in Korea due to their focus in the Japanese market, is expected to display their previously unknown variety senses through many variety programs, as soon as they release their 2nd official album.
Related officials from YG Entertainment stated that they are “Planning as many TV appearances as possible, besides ‘Knowing Bros’ and ‘Weekly Idol’”.
iKON’s new album ‘RETURN’ will be released on January 25 as YG’s first runner up in 2018. It is expected that iKON’s leader B.I will show his musical growth as a producer as he participated in writing and composing all 12 songs listed in the album. Also, people are paying keen attention on what kind of performance iKON will display through their one-title song, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’.
