iKON Takes No. 1 At ‘Inkigayo’…” Can’t Believe We’re No. 1”
[OSEN=김보라 기자] Group iKON shared their thoughts on being placed at no. 1 in a music broadcast.
On SBS ‘Inkigayo’ aired live on the 18th, iKON revealed their aspirations by stating, “We want to make an award acceptance speech today” and continued, “We want to become artists that goes forward like a strong horse”. JU-NE added “I can’t believe we’re placed at no. 1 (Laughter)”.
The no. 1 candidate songs included girl-group RED VELVET’s ‘Bad Boy’, iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, and MOMOLAND’s ‘BBoom BBoom’. As all three candidates are very popular among the public, viewers paid close attention on which song would receive the honor of being placed at this week’s no. 1.
Based on the total results composed of 55% digital sales, 5% physical copy sales, 35% social media scores, 5% viewer preliminary voting, and 10% on-air scores, RED VELVET received 8332 points, iKON received 8543 points, while MOMOLAND received 5668 points. iKON was placed at no. 1 as they received the highest score.
