‘Comeback D-5 WINNER, “The Song ‘EVERYDAY’ Is Like WINNER but Not Like WINNER”
[OSEN=김은애 기자] Today (29th) at 9 AM, YG Entertainment revealed scenes from ‘EVERYDAY’ music video shooting through their official blog, raising expectations on WINNER’s upcoming comeback, which is only 5 days ahead.
The revealed video displayed WINNER’s fresh and free spirits while shooting the music video at Malibu, California.
MINO introduced the song ‘EVERYDAY’ by explaining, “It’s a song that’s like WINNER, but not like WINNER at the same time”. YOON stated, “We challenged on the trendiest genre these days”, while HOONY added, “We wrote about the pure and innocent love of our age in the lyrics”.
At the end of the video, the members revealed the melody of the hook for ‘EVERYDAY’, while shouting “Please look forward to it”.
Related officials of YG explained, “Unlike their previous hit ‘REALLY REALLY’ released last year on April 4 which was in a tropical genre, the upcoming song ‘EVERYDAY’ which will release on April 4 is in a tune hip-hop genre which is very popular these days”.
Furthermore, they continued, “WINNER’s 2nd album will contain a total of 12 tracks, and will display WINNER’s broad musical spectrum with songs of different genres including hip-hop, acoustic, dance, and ballad”.
The music video for WINNER’s ‘EVERYDAY’ was directed by Dave Meyers who previously directed the video for ‘REALLY REALLY’, creating another synergy effect. Since he is a maestro director in the United States who recently won a Grammy Award, people are highly anticipating the completeness of the music video.
WINNER’s 2nd official album will be released through music streaming platforms on April 4 at 6 PM, while physical copies of the album will be available starting from the 5th through YG E-SHOP and nationwide retailers online and offline.
