iKON Successfully Finishes Their Concert in Hong Kong… Unreleased New Song Spoiler
[일간스포츠=김연지 기자] iKON successfully completed their Asia tour in Hong Kong with the heated support by the fans.
On November 25 at 7 PM (local time), iKON held the ‘iKON 2018 CONTINUE TOUR IN HONGKONG’ in Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena. The concert was the finale of iKON’s Asia tour. Starting with their concert in Taipei on September, iKON performed in cities including Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Sydney, Melbourne, Singapore, Manila, and Jakarta. They also held overseas fan signing events in 4 locations including Taipei, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Hong Kong. iKON met a total of 880 fans, 220 fans from each location, who earned the special opportunity to communicate with iKON.
The iKONIC of Hong Kong, the last tour location of the group’s Asia tour, filled up the arena with a loud roar and passionate responses. The fans of Hong Kong wearing red clothes and holding red konbats greeted iKON with a loud and passionate roar from the opening, as if they don’t need warming up.
After starting the concert with songs ‘BLING BLING’ and ‘SINOSIJAK’, the audiences calmed their breath with B.I’s greetings that stated, “Thank you so much for coming, I love you”. B.I and BOBBY actively communicated with the fans, making cozy time for the fans. The two members divided iKONIC into teams A and B to perform a sing-along battle of ‘LOVE SCENARIO’. All audiences passionately sang-along to the song, shaking up the entire arena.
B.I also went down from the stage towards the standing audiences to take selfies and communicate with them. BOBBY performed ‘LOVE AND FALL’ while B.I performed ‘ONE AND ONLY’ as their solo performances, filling up the stage with their unique charms. B.I and BOBBY followed up by presenting their perfect harmony through the song, ‘ANTHEM’.
The members hoped, “We worked hard in 2018, but we want to show ourselves grown even more in the future”. On the question, “Is there a special service for the local fans”, B.I and JU-NE performed an unreleased song shortly on the spot, presenting massive fan service through the surprise spoiler. The arena was filled with the fans’ heated reactions and applause, bringing up the entire mood.
Following the breakup trilogy songs including ‘LOVE SCENARIO’, ‘GOODBYE ROAD’, and ‘KILLING ME’, the concert reached its climax with the song ‘FREEDOM’. The fans enjoyed the concert with iKON while shaking konbats and jumping around. Hong Kong iKONIC also held up flowers along with the phrase, ‘Let’s Walk the Flower Road♥’ for iKON who left the stage, creating an actual flower road. They also touched the members with the slogan, ‘We met each other, so we won’t leave’.
iKON was touched by the event prepared by the fans and yelled, “We’ll miss you, and we’re so happy. Thank you so much, we love you”. The fans responded, “We love you” in Korean, creating a tight bond. The members looked back towards the audience until the end and waved hands, while the fans could not leave the scene while chanting out iKON.
