“No. 1 on Charts for 6 Days”… MINO Reveals 2nd Choreography Video for ‘FIANCÉ’
[OSEN=강서정 기자] While group WINNER’s MINO has finished preparing to go long-run by maintaining his top position on music charts for 6 days, the second choreography video of ‘FIANCÉ’ has been revealed.
On December 1 at 10 AM, YG Entertainment uploaded the second choreography video of MINO’s ‘FIANCÉ’. MINO grabbed the viewers’ attention with his restrained moves and sophisticated dance lines.
The various changes on his outfit also maximizes the variety in visuals, while he captures the viewers with his mournful expressions towards the one he misses. His strong choreography move during the hook clearly presents MINO’s unique charismatic performance while thriving for ‘my blue bird’.
The choreography for ‘FIANCÉ’ was directed by Kinjaz, the world-famous choreographer who participated in directing the choreography for WINNER’s ‘EVERYDAY’. It is reviewed that Kinjaz with trendy senses and MINO with abundant expressiveness created a well-organized performance. The choreography video was shot by director Gold Finger, known as the best expert in dance videos, and perfectly captured the dynamics of the choreography within the video.
The title song ‘FIANCÉ’ from MINO’s first solo album ‘XX’ was placed at no. 1 on major real-time charts including Melon, Olleh, and Genie as of today (1st) at 10 AM. The song is marking its strong presence by maintaining its top spot for 6 consecutive days, since the song was released on the 26th of November. MINO is displaying strong chart power as first-ever solo album is marching at no. 1 as soon as it was released.
In addition, the MV for ‘FIANCÉ’ reached 12 million views on YouTube, proving the heated interest on MINO’s new track. US Billboard reviewed, “The fact that the MV was inspired by traditional Korean culture and beauty is impressive”.
MINO’s first-ever solo album ‘XX’ released in 5 years since debut topped iTunes Album Charts in 17 different regions, proving his global market impact. The title song ‘FIANCÉ’ also topped iTunes Charts in 9 different regions, receiving love and support from many fans.
The song ‘FIANCÉ’ samples a popular song from the 70s titled ‘Soyanggang Maid’, combining the genre of Hip-Hop and trot. The fresh combination of Hip-Hop and trot has conquered the K-Pop scene, proving MINO’s aspect as a true musician.
