YG, “WINNER’s JINU Confirmed to Make Solo Debut in 5 Years”(OFFICIAL)
[뉴스엔=황혜진 기자] JINU of group WINNER will release his first-ever solo track in 5 years, confirming his debut as a solo artist.
On August 1 at 10 AM, YG Entertainment officially announced JINU’s solo debut by uploading his teaser poster through their official blog.
The phrase ‘RELEASING SOON’ written on the teaser poster raised the people’s expectations on the upcoming single. The works of art placed throughout the poster in various ways also grabbed the viewers’ attention in an instant.
JINU will be presenting himself as a solo artist for the first time, in 5 years since he made debut as WINNER back in 2014. The people are wondering what kind of concept he will bring out, as he has established his handsome image within WINNER throughout these years. The fans are also wondering what kind of music he will present, since JINU is known for his clear and beautiful voice.
Starting with their debut title song ‘EMPTY’, WINNER was ranked at no. 1 with all album title songs released since debut including ‘BABY BABY’, ‘REALLY REALLY’, ‘EVERYDAY’, and ‘MILLIONS’, proving the group’s strong influence on music charts.
The group also set a milestone by reaching 100 million chart-in streams for the first time as a male idol group with their song ‘REALLY REALLY’.
