Profile Photos of MASHIHO-YOON JAE HYUK-ASAHI-BANG YE DAM for YG’s 12-Member Group Revealed
[동아닷컴=곽현수 기자] Contents of YG Entertainment’s 12-member rookie group, TREASURE, are being consecutively released, raising the expectations of fans.
On January 9 at 12PM, YG uploaded the ‘TREASURE EDITORIAL vol.1’ individual profile photos of MASHIHO, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, and BANG YE DAM through their official blog. Following up photos of CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, and JUNKYU which were revealed yesterday, the photos grabbed the fans’ attention by vividly presenting the members’ free and comfort presence during their daily lives.
MASHIHO, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, and BANG YE DAM, the second main characters of the ‘TREASURE EDITORIAL vol.1’ which was released under the high anticipation of fans, revealed their sweet and playful charms as teenage boys. They also looked perfect in unique styling, which completed their ‘cartoon character-like’ visuals.
MASHIHO is a member who has had the longest training period among all Japanese members. He has presented noticeable talents from the early stages of ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ and has gradually received attention through his beautiful vocals. He was also acknowledged in singing and dancing through his passionate attitude in preparing for performances throughout the entire competition.
YOON JAE HYUK has presented his rapid growth throughout the competition held in ‘YG TREASURE BOX’. He grabbed the people’s attention with his gorgeous visuals, and is known to have received interest by multiple agencies through road casting. He was reviewed as the last place on the first monthly evaluations, but surprised everyone by being selected as a member of TREASURE. He is leading TREASURE’s mood with his boyish looks and bright energy.
In addition to his nickname ‘zero-defect looks’, ASAHI is known as a hard worker who has studied composing songs on his own since he was in middle school. He is not only capable of writing songs, but also has a beautiful cadence. Since he is steadily working on writing songs, he is expected to be a huge help for TREASURE’s music in the future.
After winning second place in ‘K-Pop Star Season 2’ when he was 12 years old, BANG YE DAM has crafted his skills as a trainee of YG Entertainment. He has presented not only amazing vocal skills throughout ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, but also his growth as a singer-songwriter through his self-written tracks and producing skills. He became a member of TREASURE as the no. 1 vocal position on the final competition round.
Boy group TREASURE, being launched by YG following BIGBANG, WINNER, and iKON, were selected through YG’s rookie debut project program titled ‘YG TREASURE BOX’ last year. The 12 members have spent a year of preparation for their debut after going through a fierce process of passing from monthly evaluations to the final competition round.
