iKON Confirmed to Make Comeback on February 6 with 3rd Mini Album ‘i DECIDE’… Unprecedented ‘Impact’
[헤럴드POP=박서현 기자] iKON will make comeback on February 6. A teaser clip containing the group’s fierce and serious message was revealed, noticing an unprecedented ‘impact’.
On January 21, YG Entertainment uploaded the teaser clip for iKON’s third mini album through their official blog(www.yg-life.com).
The clip showed red lights and objets, which represent iKON, contrasting with the blue sky. The members looked determined while the space passed on the feelings of loneliness and emptiness.
But soon, the six members including JAY, BOBBY, JU-NE, DK, and CHAN raised their heartbeats and the tension of the video. They started running and reached somewhere, with certainty on their facial expressions.
In addition to the sensible visuals, BOBBY’s narration was also very impressive. His chaste yet heavy narration acted as a subplot of the group’s upcoming transformation and music.
“I returned to my place where I have begun with all the distrust behind”.
“In spite of all the temptation, I continued walking on my own path. And finally I am here”.
“I am me. I define myself. I am the reason for everything. Why not? i Decide”.
The fans who understood these meaningful messages paid keen attention to the clip. It was in a story format utilizing titles of iKON’s ‘NEW KIDS’ series including ‘BEGIN’, ‘RETURN’, ‘CONTINUE’, and ‘FINAL’.
YG explained, “After growing through the NEW KIDS album series, iKON has found their ego and expressed their will to decide on their own from now on”.
At the end of the clip, the title of iKON’s new album and release date were marked clearly. ‘i DECIDE’. February 6 at 6 PM. The way they spelled ‘i DECIDE’ reminded people of the English spelling of iKON, in addition to their new will which will be expressed through their upcoming album.
