YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Confirmed to Release First Single Album on August 7… Reveals Main Poster
[YTN Star=지승훈 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE revealed a main poster revealing the debut album title and the appearances of all 12 members.
YG Entertainment (hereby YG) uploaded TREASURE’s first single album main poster on July 29 at 9 AM, through their official blog. The 12 members stared at the camera with their fierce eyes and charismatic looks as they showed off their trendy stylings and energetic charms.
Their debut single album is titled ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’. It is a direct title which refers to TREASURE’s ‘first step’. It makes the people look forward to TREASURE’s beginning and their upcoming stories.
On the concept teaser clip previously revealed to show TREASURE’s world, the group expressed their strong will through narrations that stated, ‘There are discoveries to be made in everyday life’ and ‘This one step will change everything’.
Through the fan notice, YG has also previously emphasized, “TREASURE is planning to release songs consecutively until the end of the year” and added, “It is a similar promotion strategy from that of BIGBANG when they released singles every month back in 2006”. It makes the people look forward to the new waves TREASURE will bring, starting with ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’.
TREASURE is YG’s major rookie group being announced by YG in 4 years since BLACKPINK. The group is composed of members CHOI HYUN SUK, JIHOON, YOSHI, JUNKYU, MASHIHO, YOON JAE HYUK, ASAHI, BANG YE DAM, DOYOUNG, HARUTO, PARK JEONG WOO, and SO JUNG HWAN.
