YG’s Rookie Group TREASURE Gathers Attention With Their New Album’s ‘Assorted Gift Set’ Composition
[스포츠경향=양승남 기자] YG’s rookie group TREASURE revealed a main poster revealing the debut album title and the appearances of all 12 members.
YG Entertainment uploaded the first single album main poster for TREASURE, scheduled to make debut on August 7, on July 29 at 9 AM through their official blog. The 12 members stared at the camera with their fierce eyes and charismatic looks.
Their debut single album is titled ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’. It is a direct title which refers to TREASURE’s ‘first step’. It makes the people look forward to TREASURE’s beginning and their upcoming stories. YG has previously emphasized, “TREASURE is planning to release songs consecutively until the end of the year” and added, “It is a similar promotion strategy from that of BIGBANG when they released singles every month back in 2006”. It makes the fans look forward to the new waves TREASURE will bring, starting with ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’.
Since TREASURE is YG’s major rookie group being announced in 4 years since BLACKPINK, they are anticipated as the rising starts that will decorate the second half of 2020.
TREASURE’s upcoming album composition was also revealed, gathering the attention of many fans. The album decorated in the style of a photobook in sophisticated design was composed of abundant contents including a photocard, a sticker, a bookmark, a poster, a scratch card, and more. The assorted gift set-like composition and cool design made the fans look forward to its upcoming release.
