BLACKPINK Reveals Concept Teaser Clip for Upcoming Title Track ‘Lovesick Girls’
[한경닷컴=김나경 기자] The teaser clip showing the concept of ‘Lovesick Girls’, the title track of BLACKPINK’s upcoming official debut album, has been revealed. Furthermore, part of the instrumental of the song was revealed as well, gathering the eyes and ears of global fans.
Today(28th), YG Entertainment uploaded the concept teaser video for ‘Lovesick Girls’, the title track of BLACKPINK’s upcoming official debut album.
Members of BLACKPINK appeared in a desolate space with only street noise, while leaning their shoulders on each other. JENNIE, JISOO, ROSÉ, and LISA presented their unique stylings and dark aura, as well as emitting odd vibes with their lonely looking eyes.
The country guitar riff and ambient sounds began to play, notifying BLACKPINK’s swirling emotional expressions. Despite being a short 25-second clip, the teen-movie like mood of the video raised the fans’ anticipation on the full song and its MV.
Today, BLACKPINK notified that the title track of their upcoming official debut album will be ‘Lovesick Girls’. One can expect that the pain and wounds of love will be expressed through the song, but the music fans are also looking forward to how BLACKPINK will tell the story, and what it will actually be about.
BLACKPINK has raised their global presence through pre-release singles ‘How You Like That’ and ‘Ice Cream’, which both became tremendous hits.
