YG TREASURE, Change in Eye Expression… New Album Concept Video Revealed
[엑스포츠뉴스=전아람 기자] Group TREASURE revealed the concept teaser clip for their third single album. They revealed numerous hints on the new album in just 2 teaser releases, infinitely raising the fans’ imagination and anticipation.
On October 27, YG Entertainment uploaded the concept video for TREASURE’s ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE’ through their official blog. Through a 35-second clip, the 12 members were presented and gave a hint on the album concept of TREASURE’s upcoming third single.
The members revealed cynical facial expressions and eye expressions under the colorful lights. The members of TREASURE changed from white uniforms to black on sync with HARUTO’s motions, presenting their unexpected charms.
Furthermore, the heart beating sound raised the tension throughout the video. Based on heavy 808 bass drums, the hi-hat sounds raised the tension while the mystic voice singing ‘TREASURE YOU’ at the end of the clip gave a hint on the album, making the viewers fall for the music.
TREASURE is expanding their global realm and popularity at an unprecedentedly fast pace in YG. After making a glamorous debut with ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER ONE’ on August 7, TREASURE has proved themselves as the ‘monster rookies’ by charting their single album not only in Korea, but also in various global charts in the US, Japan, and China.
‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE” will be released in 49 days since the release of their second single album. YG has previously announced that TREASURE began shooting their MV and revealed, “The song is a different genre from all singles they’ve release until now” and added, “Director Seo Hyunseung, who is in charge of BLACKPINK’s MVs, will be directing for the first time. You can look forward to it”.
TREASURE has also reached a total of 500 thousand accumulated album sales until now. The people are paying keen attention on whether the group will become ‘million sellers’ through ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series and their upcoming official debut album.
