ASAHI of TREASURE Reveals Artwork for ‘ORANGE’ Drawn by Himself… Opens Live Video
[OSEN=박소영 기자] YG’s major rookie group TREASURE will reveal the live performance video of ‘ORANGE’ from their third single album tomorrow(20th) for the first time.
On November 19 at 6 PM, YG Entertainment uploaded TREASURE’s ‘ORANGE’ live video coming soon poster through their official blog.
The poster showed the silhouettes of a boy and a girl sitting next to each other while watching the orange sunset. The title of the song ‘ORANGE’ was expressed as clouds on the brazen sky.
The artwork was drawn by ASAHI of TREASURE himself. The work contains ASAHI’s emotions as the writer and composer of ‘ORANGE’. One can see his versatile talents as an artist.
The song ‘ORANGE’ is a Ballad genre song which emphasizes emotions of Newtro and Lo-fi through a fresh prism called TREASURE. Until each other turns to orange under the sunset, the lyrics of the song shows how they hold on to time because they do not want to part with each other while the song’s lyrical melody sounds fresh yet familiar.
Since the song presents warmness like the sun that rises every day, the song is receiving love from the fans as much as the title song ‘MMM’.
TREASURE’s ‘ORANGE’ live performance video will be revealed on the 20th at 6 PM. Unlike the performance of ‘MMM’ which is Hip-hop swag and fierce performance based, the song ‘ORANGE’ is full of softness and sweetness. The fans are looking forward to how TREASURE will express the song with their own charms.
Meanwhile, TREASURE released their third single album ‘THE FIRST STEP : CHAPTER THREE’ on the 6th. The title song ‘MMM’ topped Japan’s Line Music Top 100 chart and Rakuten Music’s Real-time Comprehensive Rankings, as well as iTunes charts in 8 different countries.
They also charted-in on 93 different regional charts of Spotify and Apple Music, expanding their global popularity. TREASURE has confirmed their appearances on major year-end award ceremonies including ‘MAMA’ and ‘AAA’ and is regarded as a strong rookie of the year award nominee.
