BLACKPINK LISA’s ‘MONEY’ Reaches 300 million Streams on Spotify
[매일경제=이다겸 기자] The track song for LISA’s first solo debut album ‘MONEY’ once again reached a new record on the world’s biggest music streaming platform ‘Spotify’.
According to YG Entertainment on the 30th, LISA’s ‘MONEY’ reached 300 million streams on Spotify this morning. This feat was reached after 112 days since it was released.
This record was also reached in the shortest amount of time among K-POP solo artists who also reached the figure. JENNIE’s solo which reached 300 million streams for the first time as a South Korea’s solo artist earned this record in about 960 days.
Meanwhile, the title song for LISA’s solo album ‘LALISA’ took the first spot for two consecutive years on Global YouTube’s Song Top 100 Chart and the iTunes Top Song Chart in 72 countries.
LISA also reached a milestone in the mainstream pop market, with ‘LALISA’ reaching 84th and ‘MONEY’ reaching 93rd on U.S.’ Billboard Hot 100.
In particular, ‘MONEY’ started gaining popularity as time went by and got listed 5th on Spotify’s Global Chart, and also entered UK’s Official Single Top 100 and U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for 8 and two consecutive weeks respectively.
