TREASURE Tops Japan’s Oricon Chart, First Day of Release of Japanese Album
[데일리안=박정선 기자] Group TREASURE topped Japan’s Oricon Chart with their mini-album.
According to YG Entertainment, TREASURE took the first spot on Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Chart with their mini-album ’THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE’. This is their second feat following their first Japanese full album ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’.
They are also receiving favorable responses with their music too. The Japanese version of ‘JIKJIN’ which was pre-released 2 weeks ago had took the first spot on Japan’s Line Music’s real-time, daily, and the weekly chart. After the release of the song, their track-song ‘U’ took the first spot of Line Music’s real-time chart, and has been keeping the spot for 3 consecutive days.
TREASURE had built their popularity with just their music and video content in Japan, despite the fact that they couldn’t carry out any promotional actives in Japan due to COVID-19 restrictions. From their debut song ‘BOY’ to ‘I LOVE YOU’, ‘MMM’, and ‘MY TREASURE’ all their title-songs have swept the top spot on Japan’s major music charts.
Continuing on the trend, TREASURE decided to hold their first Japanese Arena Tour. Starting with Hokkaikitaeru in Hokkaido’s Sports Facility Complex in Hokkaido, they will be holding concerts in 6 cities until next January. In total, they will be holding 155,000 people via their concert.
TREASURE will be holding their first concert ‘TRACE’ on the 9th and 10th of April at Seoul Olympic Park, Olympic Hall.
