AKMU CHANHYUK Debuts as a Solo Artist in 8 Years
[스타투데이=박세연 기자] It has been confirmed that AKMU LEE CHANHYUK will be releasing his first solo album since debut on the 17th of October.
YG Entertainment released a release poster which notified LEE CHANHYUK’s new album release schedule named ‘ERROR’ on the 5th on their official blog.
The colorful glitch effect which spread to different places of the poster stood out. The trendy lines which almost seems like a printing error, created a tense yet mysterious atmosphere on top of LEE CHANHYUK’s image.
The poster seemed simple but left a strong impact, just like the album title. The meaning which the word ‘ERROR’ represents somehow created harmony with the imbalance of the poster image, drawing even more curiosity on what kind of musical world LEE CHANHYUK unfolded through the album.
YG said “It will be an album that perfectly put together LEE CHANHYUK’s philosophical values and challenges as an artist. Please look forward to his unrivaled creativity portrayed in the album”.
LEE CHANHYUK’s solo album comes in about 8 years since his debut as AKMU in 2014. Over the past years, he created many hit-songs that were recognized and loved by the public, and expectations are running high by music fans to feel his very own musical taste and colors.
