TREASURE Confirmed for June 1 Comeback… YANG HYUN SUK Expresses Confidence in his “Personal Favorite Result”

On April 30, YG ENTERTAINMENT (hereafter YG) Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK revealed detailed 2026 activity plans for BABYMONSTER and TREASURE through a video titled “BABYMONSTER, TREASURE, AND UPCOMING ROOKIES | YG ANNOUNCEMENT” on the agency’s official blog
First, Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK introduced the tracks from BABYMONSTER’s 3rd mini album “CHOOM”, scheduled for release on May 4. BABYMONSTER reportedly dedicated an extensive period of time to deliver a performance that lives up to the title track “CHOOM”.
While choreography is typically commissioned to two to three teams, this time it was exceptionally expanded to a 10-team scale. In particular, YANG HYUN SUK, who has created choreography for many of YG’s iconic hits, directly participated in the chorus section, enhancing the overall quality.
In addition, it was announced that TREASURE will release a new album on June 1, featuring four hip-hop-based tracks. YANG HYUN SUK stated, “TREASURE debuted during the pandemic and faced many challenges in the global market,” adding, “Personally, this is the album I love the most,” further raising anticipation.
YANG HYUN SUK said, “BABYMONSTER’s album, which we’ve poured our hearts into with producers for the past year, will be released soon, and TREASURE’s new album will follow in about a month,” adding, “I hope this brings you even more joy and excitement than I could have ever imagined.”
