2NE1 knocks down charts with their sorrowful new song for 3 days in a row
[OSEN=이혜린 기자] YG’s girl group 2NE1 has been standing at the top of music charts for 3 consecutive days with their new song ‘Missing You.’
After the song was released at 0 hour on Nov 21, 2NE1’s new song has been sweeping major music charts including Melon, Mnet, Bugs, and Olleh Music. They proved that their unusually sorrow song can also be bring on success in the music market.
2NE1’s new song ‘Missing You’ is follow-up of their two previous songs ‘Falling in Love’ and ‘Do You Love Me.’ The new song tells a story of love at young age, with much sorrow in it. The song is gaining sensational popularity from female audience as they can relate to the song. Music video with CL’s nudity is also attracting much attention.
2NE1 unveiled their first performance of the new song on Nov 22 at the 2013 Mnet Asia Music Awards in Hong Kong, and they will be returning to South Korea on Nov 23 to perform their song on SBS’s Inkigayo on Nov 24.
Meanwhile, there are other songs on charts in the top range like San E’s ‘Break Up Dinner’ and Davichi’s ‘Letter.’
