2NE1’s new songs top 6 Korean charts & Top 100 in 25 countries

[머니투데이 스타뉴스 길혜성 기자] 2NE1’s newly released song is maintaining its top rank not only in South Korea but also overseas for 4 days in a row.

 

At 11am on March 2, 2NE1’s 2nd full album title song “COME BACK HOME” stands at the top of 5 major real-time music charts including Mnet, Olleh Music, Bugs, Soribada and Daum Music. At the same hour, the other title song “GOTTA BE YOU” ranks top of Naver Music real-time chart.

The album released at 0 hour of Feb 27 is proving its power by sweeping across 6 major music charts for 4 days in a row. The quartet knocked down South Korean music charts on the day of release with their double title songs.

 

The attention is also spotlighted on the divas in other countries for 4 days.

 

The album CRUSH ranks #1 in Top Albums of iTunes in the Philippines and Vietnam at 11:05 am.

 

At the same hour, the album is at #2 in Brunei, Indonesia and Singapore, #3 in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand, #11 in Finland, #19 in Sweden, #26 in Honduras and Lithuania, #28 in Mexico, #37 in Costa Rica, #43 in the U.S and Canada, #50 in Kazakhstan, #53 in Panama, #60 in New Zealand, #69 in Azerbaijan, #77 in Australia, while #93 in France, ranking within the top 100 in 25 iTunes across the globe.

 

This is a clear testament to the fact that the attention on 2NE1’s new album from international fans as well as Korean fans is not simply temporary.

 

2NE1 will be performing the songs for the first time as part of their 2nd World Tour on March 1 and 2 at Seoul Olympic Park SK Handball Arena.

 

On the 3rd of March their music video of “COME BACK HOME” will be out, while their offline album goes on sale on March 7.
