Model LEE SUNG KYUNG Has Become YG Family Member… Appearing in “It’s OK, It’s Love”
[OSEN=선미경 기자] Model LEE SUNG KYUNG has joined YG Family and debuts as an actress in SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama series “It’s OK, It’s Love”.
LEE SUNG KYUNG has signed an official contract as the first actress produced under the collaboration between YG Entertainment (“YG”) and K-PLUS Model Company and she now joins YG Family following CHA SEUNG WON and CHOI JI WOO. That makes LEE a colleague of BIGBANG, 2NE1, EPIK HIGH, KOO HYE SUN, and YOO IN NA. Now, LEE makes an official debut in TV drama, turning herself into an actress from a model.
“It’s OK, It’s Love” is a drama series that will be produced based on collaboration between dramatist Noh Hee Kyung and producer Kim Gyoo Tae. It deals with the life and love of people in our modern society, who have diseases of mind but do not know it. LEE SUNG KYUNG will appear as 19-year-old troubled student named “Ahn Sonyeo”.
“Sonyeo” is expelled from school after making a trouble, and then works as a part-timer at a café of “Jang Jae Yul” (played by Jo In Sung), who is a mystery storywriter and a radio DJ. Coincidentally, “Sonyeo” becomes a member of patient group at a mental health clinic to which Jang goes. There, she meets “Ji Hae Soo” (played by Gong Hyo Jin), a medical doctor at a general hospital, and gets fascinated by her, to try to go to medical school to major in psychiatry. “It’s OK, It’s Love” will be aired starting from July, after “You’re under Siege”, which will start after currently aired “Three Days”, ends.
