AKMU’s LEE CHAN HYUK Made Surprising Remark, “I Don’t Come up with Themes for Songs Any More”

AKMU’s LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SOO HYUN explained about their debut album in SBS “HANBAM TV Entertainment Tonight” aired on the 9. LEE CHAN KYUK said that he feels “embarrassed” when he is called a “genius musician”.
Then, he surprised people by saying, “I don’t quite come up with ideas for songs nowadays. I think it’s done now.” However, he went on to say, “Anyway, I already have songs enough to produce four more albums. I have already created 80 songs”.
About how they can write such good love songs, LEE CHAN HYUK answered, “The age of 18 is an age for the first love. It’s a sweet age. I want to have a girlfriend. I don’t have any particular ideal for girlfriend. Then, LEE SOO HYUN added, “I want my brother to have a girlfriend, too. Then, he will write good songs. He likes pretty girls”.
AKMU is now sweeping music charts with their debut album “PLAY” released at noon on the 7. The album’s title track “200%” is now in the first place on major music websites including Melon, NAVER Music, Daum Music, and Mnet (as of 3pm on the 9). Plus, the other title track “MELTED”, as well as most of the other songs including “GIVE LOVE” and “ARTIFICIAL GRASS” are now ranked in top places on music charts, boasting their “AKMU power”.
