TREASURE Lists 12 Songs in Official Debut Album… Participated by LEE CHAN HYUK of AKMU
[더팩트=정병근 기자] AKMU’s LEE CHAN HYUK participated in the making of group TREASURE’s official debut album.
On January 4, YG Entertainment(hereby YG) revealed the track list for TREASURE’s official debut album, ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’. The digital album co. The digital album contains 10 tracks while the physical copies will include 12 tracks. The album will contain 3 all-new tracks.
The new songs include the title song ‘MY TREASURE’, ‘BE WITH ME’, and ‘SLOWMOTION’ which are placed at tracks no. 1~no.3. ‘SLOWMOTION’ was co-written and composed by LEE CHAN HYUN of AKMU, who is a senior artist at the agency and is known as the ‘hitmaker’. The people are looking forward to the synergy effect made by LEE CHAN HYUK and TREASURE, the global super rookies.
In addition, the album includes the signal song ‘GOING CRAZY’ from ‘YG TREASURE BOX’, while the physical copies will also include the piano version of ‘I LOVE YOU’ and the rock version of ‘MMM’, including the entire ‘THE FIRST STEP’ series released until now.
YG explained, “TREASURE will present their clear musical color and rapid growth through their upcoming official debut album” and added, “Under the fullhearted support by the powerful producers of YG, the members of TREASURE actively participated in the making of the songs and were credited in the track list”.
Rappers CHOI HYUN SUK, YOSHI, and HARUTO were credited as writers on the title song ‘MY TREASURE’. CHOI HYUN SUK participated in writing the lyrics and rap making for all songs except for track no. 10 ‘GOING CRAZY’, while YOSHI was included in the credits for a total of 10 songs.
The teaser for the title song ‘MY TREASURE’ has not yet been revealed, but YG introduced, “The song’s lyrics contains meaning that everyone is a unique treasure-like being” and added, “The song gives the hopeful message of ‘Let’s cheer up in hard times. The sun will rise and shine again tomorrow’”.
The title tracks from all 3 single albums TREASURE has released including ‘BOY’, ‘I LOVE YOU’ and ‘MMM’ sing about love and are performance-based with fierce sounds, while their upcoming title track ‘MY TREASURE’ is the first bright-mood Pop song TREASURE will present to the public.
TREASURE’s official debut album ‘THE FIRST STEP : TREASURE EFFECT’ will be released on January 11 at 6 PM. Physical copies will become available on January 12 through YG SELECT and nationwide retailers online and offline.
