TAEYANG to hold solo concert “RISE” in Seoul
[엑스포츠뉴스=정희서 기자] BIGBANG’s TAEYANG is scheduled to hold a solo concert.
On October 11 and 12 at Songpagu Bangidong Olympic Hall, TAEYANG will hold the “2014 TAEYANG CONCERT ‘RISE’.” This is his first once in 4 years since 2010 and his third in total.
In 2008, TAEYANG was the first in BIGBANG to hold a solo concert after releasing his first solo album. His 2nd album “RISE” unveiled this year swept across music charts all across the world. His title track “EYES, NOSE, LIPS” was even ranked #1 on Gaon’s Karaoke Chart for 9 weeks in a row, which is the longest for any artists.
After wrapping up his promotion in huge success, he moved on to Japan to release his debut album and became the runner-up on Oricon’s weekly chart. His first solo tour kicked off on August 12 under the title “”SOL JAPAN TOUR ‘RISE’ 2014”, and it was so popular that there were requests for extra concerts. The tour ended in incredible success on Sept 4 at Osaka Hall.
Ticketing for his solo concert will be open to public on Sept 16 and 17 at 8pm on Gmarket.
