YANG HONG SEOK’s 1st Appearance in “MIX & MATCH”… The Other Members Say “He Is Like Sly Old Fox”
[엑스포츠뉴스=남금주 기자] The atmosphere got stiff in “MIX & MATCH”, with the appearance of new trainee YANG HONG SEOK.
In episode 3 of cable channel’s “MIX & MATCH” aired on the 25, new trainee YANG HONG SEOK made his first appearance in the show.
In the episode, YANG HONG SEOK introduced himself by saying, “I was born in April in 1994. All these things have happened in only two weeks for me, so I feel nervous. I never imagined I would ever do this with you”. Soon, each of them was confused to find out that YANG’s style of music does not fit with that of the other members.
YANG HONG SEOK then led the conversation and embarrassed the others, saying “Now I’d like to ask you to introduce yourselves”. KIM JIN HWAN said his age, and YANG got closer to KIM, saying, “If it’s okay, let’s be friends”.
In a following interview, KIM JIN HWAN honestly said, “because of the situation we are in, his first impression was not that good”. KOO JUN HOE also said, “He feels like a sly old fox a little bit. I don’t like him”. B.I also expressed his resistance, saying, “I don’t think I’ll ever like him”.
“MIX & MATCH” is a survival audition show that was designed to select the members of YG Entertainment’s new boy group iKON. Six Team B members (B.I, BOBBY, KIM JIN HWAN, SONG YUN HYEONG, KOO JUN HOE, and KIM DONG HYUK) who lost in “WHO IS NEXT : WIN” show last year, and three new YG trainees (JUNG JIN HYEONG, JUNG CHAN WOO, and YANG HONG SEOK) compete in the show.
