[엑스포츠뉴스=정희서 기자] DAESUNG, a member of YG’s boy group BIGBANG, is going to hold a solo tour concert once again in Japan.
On Oct. 30th, YG ENTERTAINMENT announced that DAESUNG would hold ‘Encore!! 3D Tour D-LITE DLive D’slove’ at Yoyogi National Stadium 1st Gymnasium in Tokyo on Jan. 31st and Feb. 1st and at Osaka-jo Hall in Osaka on Feb. 10th and 11th to meet with his fans.
Having showcased a flawless live performance in his previous round of concerts, anticipation is rising about the upcoming solo concert.
‘D’slove,’ DAESUNG’s first original album released in Japan, took the first place on Oricon’s Daily Album Chart. And his mini-album ‘D-LITE’ also ranked first on Oricon, demonstrating his popularity in Japan.
Released on Oct. 29th, ‘D-LITE’ contains 9 versions of 4 songs, three of which are new songs.
The lead track of ‘D-LITE’ is ‘Look At Me, Gwisun,’ a song which was enormously popular in Korea a few years ago. The Korean version of the song was much talked about, since it was written by G-DRAGON, the leader of BIGBANG. The lyrics of the song’s Japanese version were written by Kenichi Maeyamada of Hyadain.
Kenichi Maeyamada also took part in writing the second track ‘It’s a Big Hit.’ And the third track has newly covered and recorded ‘Furui Nikki (Old Diary),’ a song of Akiko Wada, a long-time famous Japanese singer. Lastly, the fourth track covers Do-nimo Tomaranai (I Won’t Stop), a song of Linda Yamamoto, a female Japanese singer in the 1970s.
Meanwhile, BIG BANG, to which DAESUNG belongs, starts its concert tour at Nagoya Dome on Nov. 15th and 16th.
