KOO JUNHOE Is the 4th Member of iKON… YG Server Was Down for a Moment
[스타뉴스 김현록 기자] YG Entertainment announced on the 3 this month in the night, that KOO JUNHOE has been selected as the fourth member of iKON. YG Entertainment had planned to confirm and announce the fourth member of iKON on YG’s blog YG life on the day at midnight, but the schedule was delayed as the website was down after 11:30pm due to too much access to it. So, the announcement was made way past the original schedule.
While YG Entertainment has aired “MIX & MATCH” show recently, a survival audition program for selection of the members of its new idol group, B.I, BOBBY, and KIM JINHWAN have already been confirmed to be the members of the new group. Now, KOO JUNHOE has been selected to join iKON as the fourth member.
KOO JUNHOE is one of the original members of Team B in Mnet’s “WHO IS NEXT: WIN”, which is another audition show that selected the members of idol group WINNER last year. He is now joining B.I, BOBBY, and KIM JINHWAN to become a team with them once again.
YG Entertainment will announce the fifth member on the 4 at 12am, and the sixth members will be announced on the 5 at 12am, then the last member in Mnet’s “MIX & MATCH” to be aired on the 6 at 11pm.
Currently, SONG YUNHYEONG, KIM DONGHYUK, as well as new-face trainees JUNG JINHYEONG, JUNG CHANWOO, and YANG HONGSEOK are left to wait for the result. Among them, three more will be selected as the members of iKON.
Meanwhile, the seven selected members will make debut as YG’s new boy group iKON and will perform on the opening stage of group BIGBANG’s Japan five dome tour that will begin on the 15 and 16 this month in Nagoya, Japan.
