JINUSEAN’s New Song “TELL ME ONE MORE TIME” Dominates Music Charts
[OSEN=최나영 기자] JINUSEAN, a hip hop duo making a comeback in 11 years, is dominating music charts across a number of websites.
As of 7 a.m. of Apr. 15th, their new song “TELL ME ONE MORE TIME” is ranked first in real time on music websites, including Olleh Music, Naver Music, Genie and Soribada.
Released at midnight Wednesday, “TELL ME ONE MORE TIME” is a new disco song boasting newest sounds blended with the feel of the ‘90s. And a YG artist TABLO took part in writing lyrics and composing. While the song has a nostalgic appeal, it has a sophisticated and highly addictive melody. JINUSEAN’s cool rapping and Jang Hanna’s singing has turned out to be an attractive combination.
The music video released along with the song does have the ‘90s feel as well, where JINUSEAN seemed they were straight out of 1997. And Yoo Jae-suk, Seo Jang-hoon, Shoo, Haha and Kim Hyun-jeong appeared as cameos. They starred in MBC’s “Infinite Challenge – TOTOGA” together with JINUSEAN, where the duo came back together as singers. Seo Jang-hoon, a basketball-turned-entertainer, danced with JINUSEAN the choreography of “TELL ME,” and the other cameos featured the wigs and fashion of the 1990s.
Now there is increasing attention to whether JINUSEAN’s highly addictive but unique song will be able to gain popularity on a sustained basis after dominating music charts upon release.
