JINUSEAN Says “LOSER” And “BAE BAE” Are Best Music of BIGBANG’s Nine-year Career
[스타뉴스=윤성열 기자] JINUSEAN, a hip-hop duo that has JINU and SEAN as its members, praised BIGBANG’s new singles saying that they are the “best music ever”.
At an interview with Starnews – which took place at the backstage of KBS 2TV’s Music Bank show in Yeoyido, Seoul – SEAN complimented BIGBANG’s “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” saying that he “listened to the music before they were released” and that they are “the best music in BIGBANG’s nine year career.”
JINU also praised BIGBANG saying, “As I have mentioned in our comeback press conference, BIGBANG has made a comeback with the best ever songs.” He added, “I really like their newly released songs.”
“LOSER” and “BAE BAE” are the new singles of BIGBANG after their three-year break. The songs have rocked the major music charts such as Melon, Mnet, and Genie right after their release.
BIGBANG will release an album that contains more than one track every month until August 1. Fans are anticipating their “MADE” album, which will be a compilation of such albums and scheduled to be released on September 1.
JINUSEAN, who belongs to the same agency as BIGBANG – YG Entertainment, has sent their full support for the successful comeback of their fellow artist BIGBANG. SEAN noted, “In the current fast-paced music industry, an album might become forgotten in just one or two months after its release. Therefore, BIGBANG’s comeback will be a four-month project. The singles that are not released yet will also be something to look forward to.”
Meanwhile, JINUSEAN is actively promoting their new single “TELL ME ONE MORE TIME” – a ‘90s style disco song released on April 15. It’s been 14 years since they released a new song after the release of the title song of their 4th album – “TELEPHONE NUMBER” – in 2004.
SEAN said “(After such a long break) everything is so fun.” He added, “I’m thankful that so many people are saying they’re glad to see us back. Some of the writers and directors of the shows that we have done recently said that they grew up listening to our songs. This made me really happy.”
Referring to their future plans, JINUSEAN said, “Making appearances on TV shows is important but our music is about being close to our fans, so what we really want to do is performances. Currently, we are in the process of making new songs. If we finish making our album, we will release new singles over a two or three month period just like what BIGBANG is doing now. We hope that we could come up with good songs so that we could do more performances.”
