“Oppacha” in the No.1 on five charts… YG’s is riding high on charts

As of August 17 at 7am, “Oppacha” sung by Team YG’s TABLO-JINUSEAN and Incredible in Mnet’s rapper survival show “Show Me the Money 4” is in the No.1 on major music charts including Genie, Olleh Music, NAVER Music, Mnet.com, and Soribada.
“Oppacha” unveiled in the first-round competition of “Show Me the Money 4” aired on the 14 is creating bigger and bigger sensation after it was showcased in the show. At first, viewers were rather confused about the song, because it had a new color totally different from other songs sung in “Show Me the Money”. However, it seems that such a new feel is appealing to the public’s musical taste. Producer San-E said, “This song is the easiest and most popular song ever in the history of ‘Show Me the Money’.”
Meanwhile, “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE”, group BIGBANG’s new song for this August, is in the top place on the chart of Korea’s biggest music-streaming website Melon. The unique trait of BIGBANG’s songs whose rankings go up the charts again and again and which stay long in top places on charts, is being displayed for the new song again.
“LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” is a song included in BIGBANG’s new single “E” released on August 5. Its sentimental melody line and different colors of five members’ vocals well-express the tender and soft feelings of love.
Such big power of YG music on charts is something notable. Such trend is expected to continue for some time, as the song for which G-DRAGON and TAEYANG collaborated for the music festival of MBC’s variety show “The Infinite Challenge” will be released soon. In the music festival of “The Infinite Challenge”, G-DRAGON and TAEYANG worked with Kwanghee (of ZE:A).
