[Exclusive] Rapper “1(ONE)” who performed in “Show Me the Money 4” confirmed his contract with YG
[일간스포츠=엄동진 기자] Promising rapper “1(ONE)” who performed in Mnet’s “Show Me the Money 4” singed exclusive management contract with YG Entertainment.
According to music industry insiders, 1(ONE) recently singed exclusive management contract with YG and is getting YG training.
An insider said, “YG closely observed 1(ONE) performing in ‘Show Me the Money’. The company decided that he is a very talented rapper who could almost win ‘Show Me the Money 4’. He looks handsome like an idol singer and is a very good rapper. Even though he still has a long way to go, he is like a rough diamond. As he has just begun his training, the time and form of his album release have yet to be decided.”
The contract was signed between three parties 1(ONE), President Lee Yong-Hak of 1’s original label D-Business Entertainment, and YG Entertainment. The exclusive management right contracted between D-Business Entertainment and 1 will be transferred to YG and 1(ONE) will perform as an YG artist.
1(ONE) made debut early this year in duo 1Punch. He was recognized for his talent by singing debut song “Turn Me Back”.
