Upon Receiving Rookie of the Year Award at MAMA as Expected, iKON Says, “This will make us grow.”

On December 2, the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) took place at the Hong Kong Asia World-Expo Arena.
iKON has produced a number of hit songs this year including “MY TYPE” and “RHYTHM TA”, winning them the Rookie of the Year Award over Seventeen, Monsta X, and N. Flying. iKON said, “This will help us grow and become better musicians. We’re so happy. Thank you for making today unforgettable for us.”
They also thanked their families, YANG HYUN SUK, TEDDY, KUSH, BIGBANG, WINNER, PSY, and EPIK HIGH along with their fans.
Meanwhile, PSY, BIGBANG, JYP, EXO, SHINee, Taeyeon, CL, f(x), iKON, Jessi, Hyuna, Bangtan Boys, GOT7, Zion.T, Monsta X, San E, and Seventeen attended this year’s MAMA. The award ceremony was held under the theme of “The State of Techart(Tech+Art)”, and many of the performances featured a fantastic combination of state-of-the-art technology and art.
