KANG SEUNGYOON Says, “We made nicknames for ourselves for the children while shooting ‘Half-moon Friends’.”
[마이데일리=이승길 기자] WINNER members have new nicknames. They made nicknames to get closer to children.
The “Half-moon Friends” production press conference took place at the JTBC building in Sangam-dong, Seoul at 2 PM on April 21, and it was attended by the show’s director and WINNER members.
On the show, the members each had nicknames: KANG SEUNGYOON was called Yooni ssem(teacher); KIM JINWOO, Juju ssem; LEE SEUNGHOON, Hat ssem; Song Minho, Candy ssem; and NAM TAEHYUN, Monster ssem.
About the nicknames, KANG SEUNGYOON said, “We made nicknames for ourselves because we all have different names, and we thought it might be difficult for the children to memorize all our names. And we thought we would be able to become friends with children faster if we had cute nicknames. My name ends with ‘yoon’ and so my nickname became Yooni ssem.”
“Half-moon Friends” shows how WINNER members—KANG SEUNGYOON, LEE SEUNGHOON, SONG MINHO, NAM TAEHYUN, and KIM JINWOO—interact with four-to- seven-year old children during their 15 days in Bandal Land.
The show premieres at 9:40 PM on April 23.
