Director of “Half-moon Friends” Says, “The 15 days were full of laughter and tears. WINNER was sincere while shooting the show.”

[일간스포츠=황소영 기자] The director of “Half-moon Friends” revealed that the 15 days of shooting the show were full of laughter and tears and members were sincere while shooting the show.

In the run up to its premiere, the “Half-moon Friends” production press conference took place at the JTBC building in Sangam-dong, Seoul at 2 PM on April 21. The show’s director Kim Soo-a and WINNER members came to the conference.

Kim Soo-a said, “I wanted to see what happens when you make people who have no experience in child-rearing spend 15 days with children and to see how much they change. I wasn’t sure whether stars would be able to take 15 days off to shoot the show and whether they would be able develop true feelings towards children. But I think that WINNER members manage to do that in just 15 days. They liked and loved the children and even got angry with them at times. The 15 days were full of laughter and tears.”

She went on to say, “I’m editing what we have filmed so far and I’m trying my best to show how sincere the five members were. I want the show to tell the story of not just the children but the stories of the five members as well. Don’t miss the show.”

“Half-moon Friends” shows how WINNER members, whose average age is 23, interact with four-to-seven-year old children during their 15 days in Bandal Land. The children are lonely, but they meet idol stars who understand them and become friends.

“Half-moon Friends” is to premiere at 9:40 PM on April 23.
