AKMU’s LEE CHAN HYUK talked about new album’s big success on charts… “Sorry to stand on the spotlight alone”
[OSEN=최나영 기자] AKMU’s LEE CHAN HYUK who is sweeping charts with a new album expressed his gratitude.
On May 4, LEE CHAN HYUK expressed his gratitude to fans, leaving a long remark about AKMU’s new album released after two years of absence from the music scene on his Instagram account.
LEE CHAN HYUK revealed his thankful heart for fans, saying, “I thank you with all my heart. This new album is released after our two years of absence, so we were worried and felt burdened, but our loving fans made this big success possible. I really thank you”.
Then, he also expressed his modesty, saying, “My name is put as the writer for all the songs in the album, but I’m not the only one who wrote the album. There are many people who worked hard behind us, so I’m sorry to stand on such big spotlight alone”.
Notably, LEE showed his warm heart by saying, “I want to mention the name of every one of them, but I’m afraid I might miss any one of those who worked really hard for us even though I didn’t know it. Anyway, I really appreciate your hard work and I thank you and love you. Please continue to support us (bow)”.
As of May 3 at 7am, AKMU’s new song “RE-BYE” is sweeping No.1 on all music charts in Korea including: Korea’s biggest Melon; Genie Music; Olleh Music; NAVER Music; Mnet.com; Soribada; Bugs; and Monkey 3. Not only “RE-BYE” and “HOW PEOPLE MOVE”, the title tracks of the new album, but also other songs in the album including “Haughty Girl”, “Green Window”, “Every Little Thing”, and “Around” are sweeping top places on charts.
AKMU released new album “SPRING Vol.1” on on-line music-streaming websites on May 4 at 0 o’clock (12 o’clock on May 3).
