WINNER’s “Half-moon Friends” fascinating China, too… Recording more than 30 million views
[OSEN=정소영 기자] Idol group WINNER’s TV show “Half-moon Friends” aired on JTBC channel has surpassed 30 million views on China’s “MiaoPai”.
“Half-moon Friends” is drawing big popularity on “MiaoPai”, recording average six million views for each episode and surpassing 32,100,000 views in accumulated number. The number is consistently growing, to prove Chinese fans’ big support for the show.
MiaoPai is a popular Chinese video-streaming application. It is a widely-used social media service in China, which records more than 500 million views every day. Notably, it is an entertainment platform that is creating sensation among young people in China recently, as the number of entertainers using the application as well as the number of video uploaded on it is the highest among all video-streaming platforms in China.
WINNER is presenting their friendly and warm-hearted personality in “Half-moon Friends”, differently from their existing image, to fascinate not only Korean but also Chinese fans.
“Half-moon Friends” is a TV show in which idol group WINNER and children aged between four and seven stay together for 15 days. It depicts the process of idol group who feel lonely after a long time of training and children becoming real friends. The show is drawing big attention for touching stories in every episode, which depicts the miraculous friendship between idol singer WINNER and children built for half a month.
