[OSEN=강서정 기자] AKMU will signal the start of YG Entertainment’s 2017.

On December 5, YG Entertainment announced the comeback of AKMU by releasing a teaser image of its new song.

It’s been seven months since AKMU released a new song, which was when the group released its first album in two years, the “PUBERTY PART.1” album. AKMU will be releasing “PUBERTY PART.2” this time.

Expectations are running high for AKMU’s new album, which will be the first YG album to be released in 2017. Earlier on, the title track of AKMU’s “PUBERTY PART.1”, “RE-BYE”, topped the charts when it was released. No wonder fans are highly anticipating AKMU’s new album.

YG artists have released a host of new songs recently. BLACKPINK and SECHSKIES are well on their way in promoting their songs, and BIGBANG will be making a comeback on December 12. Now, AKMU has announced its comeback in January.

PSY, iKON, WINNER, LEE HI, KATIE, ZION.T, G-DRAGON, and TAEYANG are to release new songs next year.
