Billboard Says, “…Zion.T made his mark on the Korean R&B world with hit after hit.”
[마이데일리=전원 기자] Upon release, Zion.T’s new album is dominating the charts in and out of Korea, and Billboard published an article about his comeback.
On January 31 (local time), Billboard wrote, “After moving companies last year, he returned on Tuesday (Jan. 31) with his OO EP…”
The US music magazine praised Zion.T and wrote, “In 2015, Zion.T made his mark on the Korean R&B world with hit after hit… the singer’s latest is a refreshing, poppish update to his sonic style.”
Zion.T’s new songs are rocking the iTunes charts. Currently, Zion.T’s “OO” album is No.1 on the iTunes albums chart of Costa Rica and Taiwan. “Complex”, one of its tracks, took the No.1 spot on the iTunes singles chart of Macao and Vietnam. In total, Zion.T is topping four iTunes charts.
This is remarkable considering that there were no promotions outside of Korea. Probably, it was possible thanks to YG’s media assets and BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON, who featured on “Complex”.
Zion.T’s new album is sweeping the charts in Korea too. The title track, “The Song”, is No.1 on the charts of Mnet, Bugs, and Genie, and “Complex” has taken the top spot of Olleh charts. Earlier on, Zion.T’s new songs had swept the top spots of all realtime charts.
Meanwhile, Zion.T’s new album “OO” has seven tracks, “The Song”, “Cinema”, “Comedian”, “Sorry”, ”The Bad Guys”, “Complex”, and “Wishes”, and a instrumental version of “Cinema”.
