[Exclusive] SECHSKIES will shoot a music video in early April… Kicking off 20th anniversary project in earnest
[헤럴드POP=박수정 기자] SECHSKIES who has recently been preparing for their comeback in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their debut, will kick off the comeback project in earnest by shooting a music video in early April.
According to multiple YG insiders on March 22, SECHSKIES will shoot a music video in early April. The shooting has been scheduled for the period from the end of March to early April, but it is subject to change as individual members of SECHSKIES are busy performing as solo artists as well.
After their debut in 1997 with “Hagwon Byeolgok”, SECHSKIES created numerous hits with “Couple”, “Hunch”, “Com’ Back”, “Road Fighter”, “Chivalry”, etc. In 2000, the team was disbanded.
Then, SECHSKIES was reunited after 16 years of separation, for their performance in MBC’s “The Infinite Challenge” show in 2016. After officially coming back to the music scene with new song “THREE WORDS”, SECHSKIES released “2016 Re-ALBUM” and enjoyed enormous popularity comparable to the popularity they enjoyed during their golden days in the 1990’s.
Since the release of the “Re-ALBUM” last year, SECHSKIES has hinted on their comeback repeatedly in interviews and TV shows, saying, “We’ll come back with new songs that can celebrate our 20th anniversary”. Now that the dates of SECHSKIES’ music video shooting are scheduled, the team’s comeback appears to be imminent. Music fans are paying keen attention to how SECHSKIES will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut.
