WINNER Tops iTunes Charts in 12 Countries, Demonstrating its Global Power
[일간스포츠=이미현 기자] WINNER takes the No.1 spot on the iTunes charts of 12 countries, proving its global popularity.
WINNER’s new EP “FATE NUMBER FOR” was released at 4 PM on April 4. As of 6:30 PM, the album topped the iTunes charts of Brunei, Columbia, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, the Philippines, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
In Korea, “REALLY REALLY” and “FOOL” took the top two spots on Genie, Olleh, and Bugs charts as of 6 PM. On other major charts, the two songs are climbing up the charts at an incredible speed.
“FATE NUMBER FOR” is WINNER’s first EP after it became a four-member group. The EP consists of “REALLY REALLY”, a tropical house song, and “FOOL”, a slow song with an impressive melody. The two songs are very different in style, which makes it more appealing to the music fans.
Meanwhile, WINNER will appear on MBC’s Music Core on April 8 and SBS’s Inkigayo on April 9 to kick off the promotion for their new album. The group also announced that they will be appearing in a number of TV variety shows including MBC’s My Little Television.
