WINNER’s Music Videos Surpasses the 10 Million Mark in Just 5 Days after Release
[스포츠조선닷컴=홍민기 기자] It’s only been five days since WINNER released their new songs and music videos, but the two music videos surpassed the 10 million mark.
As of 8 AM on April 9, the “REALLY REALLY” music video posted 5,999,006 and the “FOOL” music video posted 4,199,173 views on YouTube. Combined, the two music videos recorded 10,198,179 views. Even for WINNER, this is the shortest time that its music video took to surpass the mark.
Three years have passed since WINNER debuted, and last year, it became a four-member group. Consequently, it had to go on a break for 14 months, and some even predicted that WINNER may break up.
However, WINNER has come back looking better and stable than ever.
Upon release, WINNER’s new songs swept the charts in and out of Korea by taking the No.1 spot on the charts of 21 countries.
“REALLY REALLY”, one of the songs in WINNER’s new EP, remained on the No.1 spot on the Melon realtime chart for four days. But on the fifth day, it gave away the top spot to hit singer IU and is now at the third place.
WINNER performed its first comeback stage on April 8 on MBC’s Show! Music Core. Afterwards, the group appeared on MBC’s My Little Television and won the first half of the show. Before these two shows, WINNER had never appeared on MBC shows. Therefore, fans are now hoping to see more of WINNER on non-cable shows.
WINNER is to perform “REALLY REALLY” and “FOOL” on SBS’s Inkigayo on April 9. There will be a special stage set especially for WINNER’s performance, and it will be pre-recorded for perfection.
