[First-ever] WINNER’s New Single Ranks Third in Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales
[스타뉴스=길혜성 기자] WINNER, one of the most popular K-pop boy groups, made it to the top three in Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales.
On April 12, the prestigious US music magazine Billboard announced its most recent World Digital Song Sales for April 22, and WINNER’s “REALLY REALLY” was ranked at No.3. The song is a track in WINNER’s new EP titled “FATE NUMBER FOR” released on April 4.
Upon release, “FATE NUMBER FOR” took the No.1 spot on iTunes Top Albums Chart in Brazil, Cambodia, Columbia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Norway, the Philippines, Singapore, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam.
It’s only been a week since WINNER released its new EP, and “REALLY REALLY” entering the World Digital Song Chart as No.3 proves WINNER’s global popularity. It is even more surprising when you consider that the EP is WINNER’s first album after NAM TAEHYUN left the group.
Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales rates songs released outside of the US based on their digital sales results.
