SECHSKIES’s 20th Anniversary Exhibition Shows the Group’s History
[조이뉴스24=이미영기자] SECHSKIES is to hold an exhibition to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its debut.
On April 23, YG Entertainment uploaded a poster titled “YELLOW UNIVERSE” on its official blog.
The poster features an image symbolizing the exterior of the exhibition building. It put an emphasis on the exhibition space and a sense of solidarity in “Now, here, us”. LEE JAEJIN’s ideas are reflected in creating the poster.
The exhibition will showcase pictures taken for SECHSKIES’s 20th anniversary and the group’s album to be released on April 28. Fans will also be able to see the costumes and fashion items of SECHSKIES members. There will also be contents in which visitors can participate, and an audio guide recorded by the members themselves to guide the visitors from the first floor to the fourth floor of the exhibition.
The exhibition is to celebrate SECHSKIES’s 20th anniversary. It will be a meaningful opportunity to look back on the past 20 years of the group.
SECHSKIES debuted on April 15, 1997, with “SCHOOL SONG”. The group was at the forefront of the idol sensation and the teen culture. It reunited last year after a 19-year breakup. The exhibition will take place at 76-1, Wausan-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul and be open for visitors on April 28, the day when SECHSKIES’s new album is to be released, until May 28.
SECHSKIES will make a comeback on April 28 with a new album. The group has made various plans, such as holding an exhibition, fan meeting and concert, to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
