iKON’s B.I Says, “There no pressure in doing promotions at the same time with WINNER.”
[동아닷컴=최현정 기자] iKON (B.I, BOBBY, JAY, SONG, JU-NE, DK, and CHAN) talked about how they feel about releasing an album and doing promotions at the same time with their label-mate WINNER.
On May 22, there was a press conference at the YG Entertainment building in Mapo-gu in the run up to the release of iKON’s new album “NEW KIDS: BEGIN”.
About doing promotions at the same time with their label-mate WINNER, iKON’s B.I said, “I’m happy that WINNER is doing so well. They have their schedules, and we have ours, but we bump into each other now and then. When we do, we always express our support and cheer each other up.”
He went on to say, “I don’t feel any pressure or competition. It’ll be nice if we do well, but even if we don’t, we can always try again.”
iKON’s new EP “NEW KIDS: BEGIN” has two title tracks: “BLING BLING” and “B-DAY”. B.I participated in writing the music of both songs, and B.I and BOBBY wrote the lyrics of the songs.
“BLING BLING” starts with a harmonious combination of heavy brass and 808 drum sounds, and “B-DAY” is a song with impressive acoustic guitar sounds.
Meanwhile, “NEW KIDS: BEGIN” will be released online at 6 PM on May 22.
