AKMU Says, “’DINOSAUR’ was our first EDM song and was a big challenge. People tried to persuade us not to do it.”

At 10 AM on July 22, YG Entertainment uploaded the makings video of AKMU’S new song “DINOSAUR” on its official blog. The music video was shot on Jeju Island and showed the mysterious yet beautiful scenery of the island.
LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SU HYUN’s acting was as good as that of professional actors. LEE SU HYUN really put her heart and soul to do her part in the video. She played pranks to LEE CHAN HYUK at times and did a dance to lift up the mood during the shoot.
Before shooting the scene where they had to go and search for dinosaurs in a dark forest, LEE SU HYUN said, “Hello, I’m an actress now. I know how it feels like to fall down, because I’ve done it a so many times. I think I have to be registered as an YG actress now.”
LEE CHAN HYUK had told everyone that he would not act any more after shooting the musical short film for their “WINTER” album. He said, “The director gave me a big part and it was a burden. But the funny thing is people would tell me that my acting is becoming better as time goes on.”
“DINOSAUR” is AKMU’s first EDM song since the group’s debut. AKMU talked about how they felt about the song said, “People were against it. But I thought that we needed to shed off our cute image if we want to do diverse music. It’s was a new attempt.”
AKMU’s new song has been topping the charts for three days straight since its release. As of 10 AM, AKMU’s “DINOSAUR” is at No.1 on four major charts of Korea, proving that AKMU’s music is worth waiting for.
