AKMU’s “DINOSAUR” Experiment was a Success, and the Duo Rounded Off their National Tour
[엑스포츠뉴스=김유진 기자] It’s been four days since AKMU released “DINOSAUR” and “MY DARLING”, but the group is still dominating the charts.
As of 10 AM on July 23, “DINOSAUR” is at No.1 on the charts of Olleh, Bugs, Genie and Soribada.
AKMU’s new songs are a great success, and on top of this, the duo successfully rounded off their four-month national tour on July 22.
The finale concert of AKMU’s “DIARY” tour took place at the AramNuri Arts Center. AKMU has held 17 concerts in ten cities across the nation, and 20,000 people came to see them perform.
At the finale concert, AKMU said, “We just did our best and now it is time to do our last concert. Time flies. We’re feeling so many emotions right now, but we are ready to have fun. You have to join us.”
Then the duo performed their acoustic songs such as “DON’T CROSS YOUR LEGS”, “IDEAS”, “HAUGHTY GIRL”. They also sang their hit songs “RE-BYE”, “LAST GOODBYE”, “GIVE LOVE”, and “200%”, and fans sang along with them.
AKMU prepared a special part for their finale concert, and it was titled “Acting Awards”. The bridge videos played at each concert were compiled so that the audience can see LEE CHAN HYUK and LEE SU HYUN’s acting and the journey they had made. LEE CHAN HYUK was the winner and to express his gratitude, he did a mine performance of “Billie Jean”.
The “DIARY” tour started in March and consisted of eight concerts in Seoul and additional concerts in Kwangju, Daegu, Suwon, Busan, Seongnam, Daejeon, Changwon, Incheon, and Goyang.
AKMU said, “We’re so happy to perform for you. We feel much closer to you now. We’ll keep on working hard, so send us your support.”
Before ending the concert, LEE CHAN HYUK played the guitar and sang AKMU’s new songs “DINOSAUR” and “MY DARLING”.
