The teaser film of “ISLAND” unveiled on August 3 in the morning on the official blog of YG Entertainment conveys a refreshing feel that cools down the scorching heat of the summer season, just as another new song “LOVE ME LOVE ME” does.
With the dance hall rhythm and cool tropical house sound in the teaser film, WINNER members are displayed in an exciting and carefree atmosphere against the backdrop of exotic natural environment of Hawaii.
The lyrics of the song unveiled in the teaser film which go “Our ISLAND / Cool champagne under the palm tree / I’ll be your ISLAND” are raising fans’ anticipation for the new song with a unique theme of “island”.
WINNER’s KANG SEUNGYOON, SONG MINHO, and LEE SEUNGHOON took part in writing the melody and lyrics of the song. It presents the unique feel and style of WINNER’ music including “REALLY REALLY” that became WINNER’s greatest hit.
WINNER’s new song “ISLAND” and “LOVE ME LOVE ME” that re-interprets the disco genre will be released on August 4 at 4PM.
