[Official Announcement] YG “BLACKPINK’s First Exclusive Reality Show ‘BLACKPINK TV’ Will Launch”

YG Entertainment (Abbreviated as YG), revealed the first teaser video of ‘BLACKPINK TV’ today at 10 AM KST through their official blog(www.yg-life.com).
In the teaser, members of BLACKPINK are fooled by a candid camera prank. Without knowing YG’s YANG HYUN SUK is secretly watching them, BLACKPINK continued exposing their CEO relentlessly.
When the members were stating their wishes such as a summer vacation, allowance money, and ‘CEO’s credit card’, YANG HYUN SUK revealed himself with a 1 year anniversary cake, making people laugh. BLACKPINK was touched when they heard YANG HYUN SUK’s proposal to start filming ‘BLACKPINK TV’.
YG stated, “A ‘Pink Princess House’ which portrays each BLACKPINK member’s own taste is currently under construction and the interior construction process of the ‘BLACKPINK House’ which continued for months is now almost complete”, indicating that the filming will begin very soon.
JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA will begin their exciting story in the “BLACKPINK HOUSE’, self-sustaining everything including laundry, cleaning, and cooking. In the teaser, BLACKPINK was shown traveling to Hawaii as they wished to YANG HYUN SUK, making fans expect for a special episode.
YG granted the wish of global fans who sincerely requested ‘BLACKPINK TV’, as BLACKPINK did not appear in many reality shows. As the show is expected to start filming in November, fans all over the world are excited for the upcoming release by BLACKPINK.
BLACKPINK who debuted approximately a year ago, has 4 music videos that have over 100 million views. Their debut single ‘BOOMBAYAH’ has 240 million views, ‘WHISTLE’ has 150 million views, ‘PLAYING WITH FIRE’ has 160 million views, and ‘AS IF IT’S YOUR LAST’ which was released 4 months ago already has 170 million views, indicating massive global popularity.
Meanwhile, the survival audition program ‘MIXNINE’, which was programmed after YANG HYUN SUK himself set out to recruit famous producers to YG, had its first airing last week under the spotlight. And today at 12:20 AM KST, ‘iKON’s PICNIC’ is set to air its first episode.
