YG Entertainment, who spent a busy 2017 is planning to work even harder in 2018. Starting with iKON, WINNER and BLACKPINK are also preparing to release new songs.
iKON will be the first runner from YG in 2018. On December 22, YANG HYUN SUK posted a hashtag message stating, “#iKON #2018 #FIRST_RUNNER_YG_2018 #YG” as a response to the fans wondering when iKON will make comeback.
Particularly, he wrote the caption “January 100%” on a photo that captured a response from fans. While fans have been asking many questions on his social media, he officially announced iKON’s comeback in January by stating 100%.
Then the fans from WINNER also started asking questions. When they asked, “When is WINNER making comeback?? President YANG?”, YANG HYUN SUK responded, “On February, MV shooting on January”, indicating that WINNER will be the next runner up following iKON.
YG Entertainment’s youngest group BLACKPINK will also make comeback. When one fan left a comment, “I’ve been waiting for BLACKPINK’s comeback for 6~8 months”, YANG HYUN SUK replied, “Currently recording a new single”.
On BLACKPINK’s first-ever reality program “BLACKPINK HOUSE”, he stated, “Confirmed to premiere on the first week of January” and added “Official premiere date will be announced next week with a teaser clip”.
It’s an “Official” from the president himself, a comeback plan that can be trusted 200%. YG Entertainment who used to adhere to mysticism are now capturing the fans with an open-minded attitude. People are looking forward to iKON, WINNER, BLACKPINK, and YG in 2018 more than ever.
