iKON·BLACKPINK Takes Over The Streets of Shibuya, Tokyo
[엑스포츠뉴스=이아영 기자] BLACKPINK and iKON will be presenting a massive collaboration with fashion building ‘109’, which represents Shibuya, Tokyo.
As image models for ‘109 WINTER SALE’ starting on January 2 next year, the two groups will be featured on 7 locations in Japan, including ‘Shibuya 109’ and ‘109MEN’S’. Their visuals that portray the newest fashion trends will get exposure to the public in various forms, including original items in pop-up stores, exclusive items, autographed posters, gift campaigns, and collaboration cafes.
BLACKPINK will be displayed in the pillars of ‘Shibuya 109’ while iKON will be displayed in a banner in ‘109MEN’S’. This means that they will show-off their special visuals in the center of Shibuya, Tokyo. People are wondering how the synergy effect between the two artist groups from YG and a commercial facility representing Japan will heat up Tokyo’s new year.
