iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ at No. 1 For 2 Days… First Performance Today (27th) At ‘Music Core’
[스포츠조선닷컴=정안지 기자] The title song for iKON’s 2nd official album, ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ is continuing to dominate music charts on the second day since its release.
‘LOVE SCENARIO’ was placed at number 1 in real-time charts on major music streaming platforms today (27th) at 10 AM, including Melon, Olleh, Bugs, Genie, and Monkey 3.
With the release of their 2nd official album ‘RETURN’ in 2 years and 1 month, iKON was placed at no. 1 in major Korean music streaming platforms, including Korea’s biggest music platform, Melon. The album was also placed at no. 1 in foreign iTunes Album Charts in 17 different countries.
‘LOVE SCENARIO’ was also chosen as Apple Music’s ‘Best of the Week’, proving iKON’s global popularity.
‘Best of the Week’ is a chart announced by editors in Apple Music in the United States, which listeners can sense global influence of artists.
iKON’s ‘LOVE SCENARIO’ was chosen along with world-star ‘Justin Timberlake’ and ‘Migos’, who popularized the ‘Dab’ move all over the world.
With the release of their new song, iKON will start their active promotion by performing for the first time today (27th) at MBC ‘Show! Music Core’.
Furthermore, iKON is planning to actively promote their album not only through music broadcasts, but also through variety programs such as ‘Knowing Bros’ and ‘Weekly Idol’.
